The tempest 2010 review

After scoring three hits in a row with Titus, Frida, and Across the Universe, her final directorial effort to date is unfortunately a bit of a dud, as well as a lesser William Shakespeare adaptation. Like Taymor's other works, The Tempest is stunning visually, with striking cinematography by Stuart Dryburgh and excellent set and costume designs.
